Using your dashboard to monitor activity
Track customer signups, point issuances, and reward redemptions in real time to understand how your program is performing.
Overview
The Activity tab in your merchant portal gives you a live feed of every interaction customers have with your rewards program. Whether a customer signs up, earns points, or redeems a reward, it’s all captured here along with staff member activity for transparency and tracking.
Understanding the activity table
Each row in the Activity tab logs a specific customer event. Here's what each column represents:
Name – The customer’s name, as shown on their wallet pass.
Timestamp – The exact time and date of the action.
Phone number – The phone number tied to the customer’s pass.
Action – Whether the customer signed up, received points, or redeemed a reward.
Points – The number of points issued or redeemed.
Amount spent – If your program is spend-based, this shows the total the customer paid.
Staff member – The team member who scanned or manually issued the transaction.
Reward – If a reward was redeemed, this shows which one was claimed.
using filters and search
At the top of the tab, you’ll find search and filter controls that help you dig into specific records. You can:
Search by customer name, phone number, or staff member
Filter by date range
Filter by type of action
This is helpful for auditing staff activity, reviewing specific customer interactions, or tracking promotional performance over time.
Best practices
Check activity regularly – Review your dashboard daily or weekly to stay on top of how your program is being used.
Use filters to focus – Narrow activity to a single location, time period, or staff member to analyze behavior.
Spot trends – Look for high-volume redemption periods, frequent redeemers, or dips in participation.
Use it to train – Share insights with your staff to encourage accuracy, speed, and consistency in how rewards are issued and redeemed.
Investigate errors – If a customer says they didn’t receive points, this is the first place to check.
