Going Live with Your Rewards Program

Activate your program and start enrolling customers with multiple ways to join — in-store, online, or by invitation.

Overview

Once your rewards program is set up, it's time to launch it. This guide walks you through how to activate your program, promote it, and get customers enrolled using digital, printed, and online options.


Subscribe to activate your program

Your rewards program must be active before customers can join. This requires a Starter Plan subscription at the location level.

To subscribe:

  • Go to Settings > Billing in your portal

  • Select the Starter Plan and complete checkout

  • Once subscribed, your program becomes available to customers immediately


Ways to go live with your rewards program

Display your printed QR code

Go to Branding > Print QR Code and click the download icon. You’ll receive:

  • A pre-designed printable sign with your logo and branding

  • A standalone QR code file for use in your own materials

Print and place your signage at key customer touchpoints:

  • Checkout counters

  • Tables or front desk areas

  • Windows or entrances


Use the digital QR display

If you use a screen or tablet at your shop, switch to the Digital QR tab to display your join screen dynamically.

This is ideal for:

  • Tablets at the register

  • Displays near pickup areas

  • Wall-mounted screens in waiting areas

Customers can scan and join directly from the screen — no printed materials required.


Invite customers manually

Go to the Customers tab in your portal to send direct invitations. Enter the customer’s:

  • Phone number

  • Or email address

They’ll receive a personalized link to join and save the wallet pass. Use this for:

  • Repeat customers you already know

  • Staff-led onboarding

  • Follow-up after a visit


Share your program online

In the Branding section, use the Social Share option to grab your unique join link.

You can:

  • Post it to Instagram, Facebook, or other channels

  • Add it to your website, email footer, or online menu

  • Include it in pre-launch teasers or stories

Customers who click the link can join and save their pass just like they would in-store.


Tips for a strong launch

  • Encourage staff to ask every customer: “Have you joined our rewards program?”

  • Make QR signage prominent and easy to scan

  • Share your join link across multiple channels — not just one

  • Remind customers of perks like “Earn points toward free items”
